Three individuals have denied charges of aggravated possession of cannabis with intent to sell.

Edward Grech, 35, Anne Axiak 47 and Abdillahi Jamale Hassan, 31, were charged with possession of cannabis, which charges were aggravated as the drugs were found in a manner indicating that they were intended for sale.

Hassan alone was also charged with carrying a knuckleduster.

All three pleaded not guilty. Bail was not requested.

Inspectors Wayne Camilleri and Spiridione Zammit prosecuted.

Lawyer Yanika Camilleri appeared as legal aid to Grech and Hassan. Axiak was represented by lawyer Maxilene Ellul.
