Consultation launched on animal circus in Malta

A consultation process was launched about animal circus shows in Malta. The process is asking whether animals should be used in such events.

The consultation process launched by parliamentary secretary Roderick Galdes starts next Monday 8^th July and ends on Friday 19^th July.

Recently, in particular during the festive season, foreign circus owners would be given permits to perform in Malta. This would lead to substantial protests from local animal rights' movements.
