No Gozo ferry between 12 and 2 on Christmas and New Year

This suspension of service, The Gozo Channel said, is so that Gozo Channel employees, who wuold have been on duty on those two days, to lunch with their respective families and friends.

On both feasts, the Gozo Channel said, the 12:45, 13:30 and 14:15 hours trips from Mgarr to Cirkewwa and the 12:45, 13:30, 14:15, and 15:00 hrs trips from Cirkewwa will not be operating.

In fact, the Gozo Channel said, the last trip from Mgarr will be at 11:15am, while the last trip from Cirkewwa is scheduled for 12:00 noon. Service will resume in the afternoon at 15:00 hrs from Mgarr to Cirkewwa while the first trip from Cirkewwa to Mgarr will depart at 15:45.

Gozo Channel Chairman Joseph Grech said the suspension of service is a sign of the appreciation the company has for its employees “who are obliged to work on long shifts and sometimes in difficulty weather conditions.”
