Man charged with bomb threats, remanded in custody

A man from Zejtun was remanded in custody this morning after pleading not guilty to making two bomb threats by phone to evacuate the law courts in Valletta.

Carlos Falzon, 24, was charged with making the calls to the police headquarters from a telephone booth in Valletta, just outside the law courts, on December 10 and again yesterday, in an attempt to postpone two separate court hearings he had.
