Man dies after falling down stairs
A 75 year old man who fell down a flight of stairs at his residence in Valletta on Sunday, died on Teusday.
On Sunday, police said in a statement that the incident took place yesterday around 8.30 pm. Police were informed about the case around 11.45 pm.
An ambulance was called on site were the man was taken to Mater Dei hospital.
On Tuesday evening, police issued another statement, saying that the man had succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
Duty magistrate Dr. Apap Bologna is leading an inquiry.
