Foreigner found dead at sea
A man believed to be British was found dead in the sea, floating a few metres away from Bugibba’s main square.
In a statement, Police said at around 4.30 pm it was informed of a body afloat in the sea in Bugibba. Whilst the person remains unidentified, Police believe the man is English.
From preliminary investigations, the Police believe the man jumped into the sea and drowned.
Inquiries are underway.
