Three women spoke about their encounters with the star of 'The Cosby Show' between 1981 and 1996, during a news conference in Los Angeles.  One of the women, Linda Kirkpatrick said she had wanted to come forward before, but that she was afraid she would not be believed.

Although these cases are tearing Cosby’s reputation to shreds, these cases took place far too long ago to result in any criminal charges or lawsuits.

The 77-year-old comedian is now facing numerous allegations, which date back to the 1970s. Cosby is currently being accused of raping, drugging, coercing or sexually assaulting at least 15 different women since 1965.

His best-known role as Dr. Cliff Huxtable in 'The Cosby Show' resulted in him being known as “America’s Dad”, however the string of sexual allegations is continuously tarnishing his reputation.

Although Cosby has described these allegations as “fantastical” and “uncorroborated”, they have led to some of his stand-up shows being cancelled. Cosby’s three-night tour in Ontario, Canada, started on Wednesday, with protestors outside the venue holding up signs of protest and other ticket-buyers boycotting the event.
