Goalkeeping course for girls

A Goalkeeper Camp for Girls is going to be held from the 22nd till the 24th of December 2010 (Xmas Holidays) at the San Gwann Football Ground. This is the first time ever a goalkeeping course for girls is being organised in Malta.

This event is being organised by the Mario Muscat Goalkeeper School and Maria Coppola.

The camp will offer opportunities to all girls 7 years upwards to specialise in Basic Goalkeeping Techniques, Positioning, High Balls, Distribution and Co-ordination training.

All goalkeepers attending this camp will be given a Keepers kit, Technical evaluation certificate and a group photo.

Maria Coppola is a ex-international player and the only Maltese female player which played professional football overseas. Coppola played in the U.S.A with RED SKINS OKLAHOMA and EAGLES OKLAHOMA in the NAIA division one womens soccer league for four years. She also played for three years with LE PECQ FOOTBALL TEAM in France.
