I would have preferred to play against Inter - Jose Mourinho
Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho returns 'home' to the San Siro on Wednesday, but knows he cannot get too comfortable against his former rivals Milan in the Champions League.
Mourinho won hearts, minds and trophies during his two-year stint with Inter.
But his homecoming with Madrid will be different as he battles Milan, his and Inter's historic rivals.
"Going back to San Siro is just like going home," Mourinho told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"It's a shame that it is Milan versus Real Madrid. It's a shame that we are not playing against Inter.
"I would be really happy to thank the Inter fans again in the stadium for everything that they gave me in two splendid years."
