Man grievously injured after hit by car in Hamrun

A man was hospitalised early on Monday morning after being hit by a car in Hamrun.

The accident occurred at 12:15am in St Joseph High Road.

Police said that the man was hit by a Toyota Passo driven by a 27-year-old English man.

Magistrate Leonard Caruana has been appointed to the inquiry.
