A worker was seriously injured at a factory in Gudja.

The accident occurred at 9:45am in Dawret il-Gudja.

The police said that a 54-year-old Indian worker had sustained injuries while using a grinder.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.

A police investigation is ongoing.
