Foreigner found injured in van

A foreigner was found injured in a van at Aldo Moro Road in Marsa towards 10.30 am this morning.

The man, who is currently receiving medical attention at Mater Dei hospital, was on the passenger side in a heavily damaged van in a service road.

He was subsequently taken to the hospital in an ambulance after he was helped out of the vehicle by a medical team and members of the Civil Protection department.

The man’s identity is yet to be determined, but his condition has been certified as not critical.

Investigations are currently underway to determine what led to this accident and who else could have been involved in the case. Investigations are being led by Hamrun and Rahal Gdid district police.
