Man injured in Birzebbuga traffic accident

57-year-old man suffers grevious injuries after being hit by a car in Birzebbuga

A 57-year-old man from Marsaxlokk was grievously injured after being run over by a car driven by a 32-year-old man in Birzebbuga.

The police said the accident happened this morning at around 9am.

The man was taken to Mater Dei where he is being treated for serious injuries, however he is not in danger of dying.
