Woman crashes car into Kappara junction barriers

A 24-year-old woman was admitted to hospital and treated for injuries sustained Thursday morning when her car crashed into the barriers close to Kappara junction.

The woman was driving in the direction of Msida at around 7.30am when she appears to have lost control of the Volkswagen Golf she was driving and crashing into the barriers used to close off sections of the road.

An ambulance was called on scene to transport the woman to Mater Dei hospital for she was treated for slight injuries.
