Pro hunting billboard vandalised
Obscenties daubed in white paint on hunting campaigners' billboard

The Iva campaign in favour of spring hunting has released a photo of one of their promotional billboards that was vandalised with obsence language.
The words 'Fuck the hunters and their families' daubed in white paint over a billboard showing a family in the countryside, was sent to press houses via email by the Iva campaign.
No statement accompanying the photo was sent.
The 'no' campaign is currently leading opinion polls with seven points, two weeks in a row. The Spring Hunting Out campaign wants to vote against the government's invocation of a derogation from the EU ban on spring hunting.
The vandalised billboard follows similar targeting of referendum campaigners like anti-spring hunting spokesperson Moira Delia, on a rubble wall in the scenic Ramla Bay valley.
Delia had said what had been done worried her, but would not stop her from expressing herself about what she truly believe in, without hurting anyone. "It's useless to attack and throw mud on individual campaign leaders; this is not a political election but a referendum, and people should vote according to the substance of the referendum question and not out of respect or obedience towards some campaign of, indeed, political leader."
