Diplomatic Relations established with the Republic of Congo

The Joint Communiqué was signed by H.E. Saviour F. Borg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative of Malta to the United Nations, and H.E. Raymond Serge Balé, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Congo to the United Nations. 

The the Signing Ceremony was held at the Permanent Mission of Malta to the United Nations in New York in the presence of Officials from both Permanent Missions.

The two Ambassadors exchanged views on how the two countries could serve to establish concrete understanding between them by upgrading the bilateral as well as the multilateral relations and in advancing the two countries respective response in dealing with current issues of international interest and concern.
