Training at Lufthansa will resume in the shortest time possible - MCAST
The MCAST administration is actively seeking to resolve a situation which has led to a delay in the commencement of the training phase of the Aircraft Maintenance Category ‘A’ license course.
MCAST officials stated that they fully empathise with the students’ concerns about their placement at Lufthansa Technik, and assured them that the training phase will start in the shortest time possible.
Over the past weeks, MCAST has been in contact with Lufthansa Technik and other authorities, and are in the process of finalising schedules which will enable students to continue with their on the job training. The college promised students that, as has always been the practice in the past, students will receive training of the highest standard.
“This is evident in the excellent reputation that the course in aircraft maintenance has built over the past years, and which is an essential element in attracting investment to Malta in this sector. The course combines classroom instruction as well as on the job exposure,” MCAST said in a statement.
“Through the financing of such courses, MCAST will continue to be a catalyst of economic transformation in Malta, by channeling students and human resources into areas which enhance Malta’s competitive advantage and offer the highest economic potential.”
