Two injured in Naxxar crash
A woman was grievously hurt after the car she was a passenger in crashed into a parked vehicle, with the driver escaping with only slight injuries

Two people have been injured in a traffic accident in the early hours of Friday morning.
The incident took place at 1am in Vjal il-Labour, Naxxar.
The police said that an investigation revealed that a 39-year-old man driving a Maza Demio crashed into a parked vehicle. A 20-year-old woman from St Paul's Bay was in the passenger seat.
Two ambulances took the victims to Mater Dei Hospital to be treated for their injuries. It was later found that the man escaped with slight injuries, while the woman was grievously injured and is in critical condition.
A police investigation is currently underway.
