MUMN president Paul Pace was elected to the board of directors of the International Council of Nurses.
"The local contribution for nurses within MUMN and the experience gained within the International Council of Nurses by co-hosting the preceding ICN conference in Malta were an asset for Pace's success in these elections," MUMN general secretary Colin Galea said.
The elections took place during the annual congress held in Melbourne, Australia. Nurses from 138 countries participated.
The Board of Directors of the International Council of Nurses are held every four years amongst all the countries members of the council.
