In the Press: Man charged with attempted murder of 10-month-old infant

A 24-year old man is being charged with the attempted murder of his partner's infant daughter. The 10-month-old child suffered critical injuries after she was thrown into her cot and is currently fighting for her life. Her mother is being charged with the neglect of the three children and both her and her partner also face drug charges.

Three migrants were brought to Malta yesterday to receive treatment at Mater Dei after their boat began taking on water some 300 nautical miles from Malta. The bodies of two others were also recovered and brought ashore. Other survivors were taken to Crete.
