Italian tourist suffers spinal injuries after quadbike accident

An Italian tourist suffered serious spinal injuries after a quadbike accident in Gozo. This is the second accident involving a quadbike in as many days.

At about 1pm yesterday, the victim and another person were driving the rented vehicle on a downhill in Wied il-Mielah, Zebbug, Gozo, when the vehicle overturned.

The woman at first did not realize the extent of her injuries but was taken to Gozo General hospital after complaining of severe pain.
