Motorcyclist injured in Burmarrad crash

The 26-year-old man was certified as having suffered grievous injuries

A 26-year-old man was grievously injured in a crash on Triq Burmarrad on Satruday night, the police said.

The incident happened at roughly 8.15pm when the man, who was driving a Yamaha motorcycle, crashed into a VW Passat. A 26-year-old man from Rabat, Gozo, was behind the wheel of the car.

The police said that the man driving the motorcycle was a foreign national and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
