Bail granted for Marsa golf club thief

Kersten Catania, 19, from Marsa was granted bail against a personal guarantee of €500 by Magistrate Antonio Mizzi after standing accused that on 17 December 2010 he stole a mobile phone, €100 in cash and a wallet and handbag from a locker in the Golf Club in Marsa. He also stands charged with having entered the Golf Club when he is not a member, having damaged the locker and CCTV camera on the premises. Inspector Sandra Zammit prosecuted while Dr Franco Debono and Dr Marion Camilleri represented the accused.
