Rescued migrants being brought to Malta

A group of 149 migrants are to be brought to Malta by the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) this evening, after they were rescued from a dinghy some 60 miles off Malta.
The AFM said in a statement that the boat was in difficulty and in need of rescuing. They are expected to land at Hay Wharf later this evening.
