21-year old woman killed by hit-and-run motorist
Young woman Francesca Foulkes, 21, was killed by a hit-and-run motorist in Ibiza.
Foulkes was out with friends in the Balearic island of San Antonio, Ibiza, when she was hit by a motorist. The 24-year old driver was later caught and reportedly tested positive for cannabis and cocaine.
The father of the victim, Julian Foulkes, spoke about his daughter and paid tribute to her, saying she was an “outgoing” girl who enjoyed “living life to the full.” The girl’s father, who is a special constable with Kent police added "As well as being outgoing and popular, Francesca was also extremely kind and considerate to others.”
Foulkes said how his daughter who “liked to travel” was planning a holiday with her boyfriend in Mexico next year. He added how he found comfort in the “kind words and messages from all her friends…it’s been very reassuring.”
Francesca, who was killed in the early hours of Sunday, grew up in Kent with her parents and 16-year old sister.
