Three people shot at Tenessee University

Three people have reportedly been shot, with one critically injured at Tennessee State University in Nashville, international media report.

CNN reports that the victims have been transported to hospital, and that the gunfire started on Thursday night. It adds that it is not known whether those injured are students or not, and whether the attacker is still on the loose.

According to the AP news agency, the entrance to the university has been blocked off and there is no indication that an attacker is still active.

The shooting marks the 46th school shooting in the US for the year 2015, and three people were also wounded by gunfire at an off-campus party near the same college some weeks ago.
