Man injured in power station accident dies

The man who was injured in an accident at the Delimara Power Station last week has died.

The 45-year-old man from Zejtun had fallen off a ladder while carrying out works at the power station on Boxing Day, hitting his head and suffering serious injuries.

In a statement Wednesday, the police said the victim has unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

An inquiry on the incident, started by Magistrate Gabriella Vella, is currently under way.
