Child hit by car in Mosta

A 5-year-old has suffered from grievous injuries after being hit by a car while crossing the street on Sunday in Mosta.

The incident occurred at 1:45pm in Triq Nicolo’ Isouard.

The police have said, the boy was hit by the side of a moving vehicle while attempting to cross the street.

The boy was taken to the Mosta Health Centre and later transferred to Mater Dei Hospital.

An investigation is ongoing.
