Man seriously injured in St Julians fight

A 44-year-old man has sustained grievous injuries after an altercation with another person took place on Tuesday afternoon in St. Julian's.

The incident occurred at 4pm in Triq il-Kbira.

The police said an investigation showed that an argument took place between a 27-year-old from Bosnia and Herzegovina residing in Gżira and a 44-year-old living in Valletta.

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment, where it was later certified he was suffering from grievous injuries.

A police investigation is ongoing.
