The campaign is to make use of various media including radio spots, print and online media as well as direct advertising around the underground tubes in the UK. The campaign in Italy will include radio spots and online advertising.

This campaign in the UK is a prelude to the Malta campaign at Harrods Store in Knightsbridge, London which is being supported also by Air Malta and which was recently announced by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr Mario de Marco and the Minister of Finance, Economy and Investment, Tonio Fenech.

All well and good but they had better sort out the bad management at Heathrow !

This is very good news. With the Cruise Industry in total disarray making the most of the vacuum left to entice tourists to these Islands is very sensible. We still think though that Air Malta is missing a trick by not encouraging weekend trips. Leaving Heathrow on Friday evenings to arrive at about 2100 hrs and then returning on Sunday evening at say 1600 hrs to arrive by 1800 hrs in the UK would open up a new ideal. And accompanying that with a hotel near the favourite visitor places would be an excellent addityion.
