Man, 19, accused of Yorkshire girls’ murder

A 19-year-old man has been charged by police with the murders of two teenagers who were found stabbed at a flat in West Yorkshire.

Ahmad Otak is also accused of kidnap and false imprisonment in connection with the deaths of Kimberley Frank and Samantha Sykes.

Frank, 17, and Sykes, aged 18, were discovered with fatal knife wounds in Wakefield, early on Saturday.

Otak is due before Wakefield Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

The bodies of the two young women were found in a flat in Barden Road, Eastmoor.

Post-mortem examinations carried out on Sunday revealed Miss Frank, who lived in Barden Road, and Miss Sykes, from Horbury, also in West Yorkshire, died as a result of stab wounds.
